Carlos is survived by his son Carlos Cruz Jr; his sister Patricia Cruz Mijarez and his brother Ernesto Cruz Jr; his grandchild Arath Cruz and his grandchild Arabella Cruz.

A prayer service will occur Monday, March 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Funeral Home-West, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008.
