Blanca Elba Vargas, age 83, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Blanca was born October 7, 1938 to Odila A. Vargas and Juventino Vargas.

Blanca worked at the Popular in the cosmetic department for over 40 years. Her hobbies included painting, flowers arranging and gardening. She will be greatly missed.

Blanca is survived by her life long partner Rosalie J. De La Vega and her friend Beatrice Gallardo; her sisters Gaby Beard and Adela Lucero.

Blanca was preceded in death by her mother Odila A. Vargas and her father Juventino Vargas.

Visitation for Blanca will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM with Vigil at 11:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will follow at 1:00 PM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 3729 Hueco Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903.
