"She taught me to believe in myself when I was feeling at my worst, helped me see myself for who I was, and told me nothing was out of my reach. I will never forget her because the last thing she told me was to save her a seat at my graduation. She'll get the best seat of them all.

Blanca you are a true example of God's Light for all of us to see. During your "storm" here on earth, you showed us how strong your faith was, 
how bright your light was, and how beautiful a life lived with grace can be.

Ms. Saavedra was an excellent teacher and will be greatly missed. I will always have the best memories of her as my 4th grade teacher.  May you rest in peace.

You were an amazing teacher that taught my daughter that anything was possible if she believed in herself. When she got accepted to MECHS, you were one of the first people she wanted to tell. She is doing so well and I thank you for being that teacher, who went that extra mile for her students. She will take you with her in her heart as she does what you told her, to believe.

I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to visit and talk to you one last time late Saturday night.  I told you we loved you and that you had a fought a long and strong battle and that it was now time for you to go home as you were in pain.  I told you that you were an excellent teacher and were loved by many as it was evident my the many visits from friends, colleagues, ex-students and parents. I told you we were proud of you and that you had served your purpose.  I also told you that Pina would not be left alone and that we would look after her so that you could leave and rest in peace.  You are now laughing, singing, dancing and most importantly are happy and pain free.  You are gone but not forgotten.  Your legacy will live in the lives of all the people that you touched.  Rest in peace.  ❤❤

Mrs. Saavedra was God sent. May He have her in His glory. She taught 3 of my children and was one of those teachers that made a difference. God bless her soul and may the family find peace and comfort in Jesus name.
