Beatrice Morales (95) passed away peacefully Saturday morning. She was born May 1, 1923 and entered heavens gates on June 16, 2018. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Manuela Montoya. Her husband of 66 years Joe Morales, and her daughter Dolores Morales, her sisters Esther Montoya, Aurora Gomez, Maria Montoya, and brother Antonio Montoya. Beatrice is survived by her children Armida Olivas (Jesse), Jaime Morales (Yolanda), Evangelina Valtier (Andy), and Jose Morales (Elsa), her brothers Daniel Jr. and Armando Montoya. Beatrice had five grandchildren, Danny and David Olivas, Joel and Aaron Valtier, and Alexia Morales. She also had two great-grandchildren Jayden and Jordyn Olivas.
Beatrice was a lifelong devoted house wife. She always put her family first, she let her husband and children flourish never wanting any attention for their success. Her biggest accomplishment in life was devoting her life in raising her daughter Dolores who was born with Down syndrome. She took care of her for 59 years while still raising four other children. She was known for her unselfishness and amazing cooking. A special thank you to Global Hospice for providing her with comfort the last few days of her life. Pallbears will be all her grandchildren Danny, David, Joel, Aaron, Alexia and Eddie Castro. Visitation will be Friday June 22 from 5-9 pm with rosary at 7 pm at Hillcrest funeral home 1060 N. Carolina. Mass will be Saturday June 23 at 9 am at Santo Nino de Atocha followed by burial at Mt Carmel Cemetery.
