On October 6, 2023, Aurora Lopez Serrano passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 78, surrounded by her children. Born on July 10, 1945 in El Paso, Texas, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Antonio Rios Serrano and her parents, Fermin Lopez and Herlinda Segura. Aurora (Boris) is survived by her children, Annette Serrano, Antonio Serrano Jr. (Christy), Aaron Serrano (Ruby), and Arlene Serrano. She also leaves behind twelve cherished grandchildren, and four great-Grandchildren. Aurora (Boris) was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted member of the Catholic Church. She was welcoming, had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed spending time with her family. When they were younger, Boris and Tony enjoyed going out dancing with their friends and listening to music and regularly attended her husband's band gigs. She will be greatly missed by all those who met and loved her. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her sister, Laura Ochoa, caretakers, Julieta and Lucy, and to Remarkable Hospice, for their support and assistance during this difficult time.
