Aurora B. Ortiz

Aurora B. Ortiz, 81 , passed away peacefully, surrounded by all those who loved her deeply on Sunday, July 21st at her home. She was the daughter of the late Alvino and Teodora Burrola. She worked for Y.I.S.D for 20 years. One of her favorite hobbies was sewing. She was an excellent seamstress. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving brothers and sisters. Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband, Raymundo who she was married to for 59 years. Her devoted children; Ramiro (Valvina), Maria, and Raymundo Jr. (Elizabeth). Her grandchildren, JoeJohn, Vivian, and Aaron. She was known lovingly as “Gammy and Pip Mama” to her grandchildren.

During her lifetime that she spent with us, she touched our lives and soul, and her presence in our life is a gift we will always be thankful for.

Thank you to all our relatives, friends and neighbors for their support and prayers during this difficult time. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. with the Vigil at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 9:15 A.M. at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
