Arturo is survived by his son Arturo Perea Jr.; his mother Margarita Perea; his brother Trinidad Perea Jr., his sister Guadalupe Layton, his sister Rita Ricarte, his sister Gloria Gallegos and his sister Veronica Contreras; his grandchild Adrian Perea, his grandchild Julian Perea and his grandchild Mia Perea.

A mass will occur Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM at San Martin De Porras, 1885 McNutt Rd, Sunland Park, New Mexico 88063. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 11:45 AM at Desertview Cemetery, 450 E Lisa Dr, Chaparral, NM.
