Visitation will be Sunday, September 1, 2019, from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N Carolina , El Paso, TX, 79915 with a Vigil at 7:00pm.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 2, 2019 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial will follow at 10:45am at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery on Dyer St. Please do not send flowers, in lieu you may contribute to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
Mr. Arnulfo Alvarez was born in California to Leon Alvarez and Maria Alvarez and Maria Luisa Brito on January 2, 1925. He has been married to Rosa Pily Tarin for 64 years. He worked as a foreman and general manager for Leadership Homes for 40 years. Mr. Alvarez is preceded in death by his mother Maria Luisa Brito, stepmother Eva Alvarez, father Leon Alvarez and two sisters, Irene and Velia.
Mr. Alvarez is survived by his wife Rosa Pily Alvarez, daughters Leticia and Viby and son Arnulfo "Pete" Jr., 9 grandchildren, 6 greatgrandchildren and two brothers Quikin and Jaime.
Pallbearers will be Isma Carrillo, Shawn Carrillo, Efren Alvarez, Roman Alvarez, Chris Beaver, and Fernando Apodaca.
