Graduated from Cathedral High School, Class of 1967. Armando served four years in the U.S Navy. As a Vietnam veteran he was assigned to the USS Catskill that took him to the waterways of Vietnam.
Upon his return from Vietnam, he earned a business degree form the University of Texas at El Paso. He was employed with A.O Smith a manufacturing company for over 30 years where he retired.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Maria Pacheco, three sons Israel , Daniel, and Roman. Daughter-in-law, Maribel Rubio. Sister, Bertha Rubio. Brothers, Jose, Pedro, and Carlos Rubio. Sister-in-law, Angie and Sheila Rubio. Several nieces and nephews.
