Antonio Gandara Gonzales

October 16, 1931 - February 28, 2023

Antonio G. Gonzales, 91, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday February 28, 2023.

Tony, as many family and friends called him, was the youngest of thirteen siblings. He was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Tony served his country proudly in the United States Army for 32 years before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel on January 31, 1986. Tony was also a proud member of the VFW and Knights of Columbus.

Antonio is survived by his partner of 25 years, Len Quiroz. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Claudia Crook, Daniel Manzanares, Regina Miller, and Diana Manzanares. Great grandchildren Amanda Manzanares, Daniel Cook and Jacob Miller, as well as nephews and nieces in the New Mexico and California areas.

Visitation from 5pm-9pm with Rosary at 6pm on Monday March 13th, 2023 at Hillcrest Funeral Homes 1060 N. Carolina, El Paso, TX 79925

Funeral Mass will begin at 12pm on Tuesday March 14th at St. Raphael's Catholic Church 2301 Zanzibar Rd., El Paso, TX 79925. An Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas 79906.
