Antonio P. Castaneda, Sr.; (TACO BENDER – CB Handle) 72. He was born June 28, 1942 and passed away April 27, 2015. Antonio was a Self-Employed Truck Driver for 55 years. He served in the US Army from 1964 to 1966. Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Evangelina V. Castaneda, sons: Antonio P. Castaneda Jr (Fabiola); Francisco J. Castaneda; daughters: Patricia Castaneda Rubio (Manuel), Amelia Castaneda Galindo (Jesus); 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brothers: Lorenzo, Juan, Mike; sisters: Maria Trujillo, Adela Cardoza and many cousins, nephews and nieces. He was a Loving Husband, Daddy, Grandpa and Brother. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Hillcrest Funeral Home–Carolina with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 8:00 am on Friday, May 1, 2015 at San Elizario Catholic Church. Rite of committal will follow at 10:00 am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
