Antonio Carrasco was born in Estacion Ojo Laguna, Chihuahua, Mexico, on February 8, 1937, and passed away in El Paso, Texas on August 19, 2016, at the age of 79. Preceded in death by parents, Marcos Carrasco and Catalina Flores Carrasco, brother David Carrasco, and sister Elisa Muela. Survived by sisters, Socorro Medina, Frances Salinas, Maria Elena Carrasco, and Lydia Ontiveros (Manny), and brother, Eddie Carrasco (Ofelia). Also, nephews, Albert Salinas (Martha), Leo Salinas, and Michael Carrasco (Yolie); and nieces, Lisa Esparza (Lenny), and Melissa Marquez (Julio). Great nephews and nieces, Venessa Arruti (Tony), Alberta Salinas, Marisa Escobar (Ruben), Marcos Antonio Carrasco, Max Carrasco, and Glory Carrasco, Alexis Dominguez, and Matthew Esparza, and great-great nephews Sebastian Escobar and Andoni Arruti. Tony was a kind person who had a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. May God bless him with eternal rest and peace. The family is grateful to the staff at Mesa Hills Healthcare Residence for their care of Tony. Vigil service will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Light Parish, 4700 Delta Drive, with Mass following at 11:45 a.m. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
