Anita F. Torres, born July 26, 1914 passed away on May 26, 2016 at the age of 101. Anita was born in the town of McGregor, Texas in a family of 15 children. When moving to El Paso she dedicated her life to raising her children and spending time with the rest of her family. She enjoyed travel, family outings and reading her bible. Anita is survived by her children Irma Soto, Fernando and Richard Torres, brothers Daniel and Eliseo Fernandez as well as 6 grand-children and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana with a 7:00pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1315 Travis on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at 11:00am at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 4848 Alps Dr.
