Angela A. Puente

Angela Puente, passed away Monday, January 2, 2018 at the age of 93. Preceded in death by her husband, Jose Luis Puente, daughter Leticia Puente, and granddaughter Tanya Yung. Angela is survived by five generations of children including her eight children; Martha Cieslik, Norma San Miguel, Rose Torres, Raul Montes (Ofelia), Sylvia Andrade (Reymundo), David Puente (Becky), Jose Luis Puente Jr. (Debbie), and Julie Downey (Mickey); twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren. Angela was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a love of music, dancing, novelas, fashion, tulips, penguins, the Dallas Cowboys and her Vitamin B (Bud Light). She lived a long colorful life! With her nails always polished in her signature red hues she enjoyed cooking & baking, traveling, participating in Publisher’s Clearing House and reading Woman’s World Magazine. She leaves us a lifetime of memories and will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Visitation: 10:00am-12:45pm, with a 11:00am vigil at Martin Funeral East, 1460 George Dieter Drive. Burial: 1:30pm, Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas.
