Amelia R. Aguirre

Amelia was born October 23, 1933 in Nombre de Dios, Durango, Mexico to Salvador and Belen Ramirez.

In 1957 she married Manuel Aguirre, and later immigrated to the United States via El Paso. They moved to Arlington, TX and in 1960 they relocated to California making Venice their home for 47 years.

In 2007 Amelia move to Nevada to be closer to her daughter and son-in-law.

Amelia, loved social gatherings, family, dancing, and music. She loved going to concerts (Marc Anthony, Il Divo, Andrea Bocelli, Vicente Fernandez) to name a few.

She as an adventurous woman, who loved to travel--cross country road trips, visiting places like the Grand Canyon, White Sands National Park, Big Bear, and her 15 day Riviera Cruise in the South of France.

If there is one thing you can say about Amelia, it would be that "She LOVED Life".

Amelia is preceded in death by her husband Manuel of 54 years; her parents, brother and sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia and son-in-law, Michael Adams; Grandson, Shawn Gibford; great granddaughter, Charlotte Gibford; Long time friends, Rev. Javier Altuna, S.J. of Spain; Ana, Maria, Evangelina, Antonio and Soledad all of California.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of close friends that she made throughout her 90 years.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
