My condolences to the entire family.  

Alicia and I both attended Austin High School.   I would see her periodically as we were going through our teens.  Later, around 1986 or 1987 Alicia hired me to work for Dr. Richardson and I worked for them for a couple of years.    I visited their home once after Dr.  had retired and Alicia, Olga Rueda (now deceased) and I  took a trip to Las Cruces where we  enjoyed a nice lunch.   I never saw her after that but Bertha Rios would keep me posted regarding Mrs. R's progress.
  
Alicia had a contagious laughter and a very sweet disposition.  She was a beautiful and a very kind person and that is how I will remember her.   Rest in peace my friend.

I had the pleasure meeting Mrs. Richardson more than 35 years ago, and we immediately became friends. She will always be remembered for her elegant fashion style, intelligence, business savvy and kind- hearted woman.  As I referred to her as Mrs. "R" she always was very good to me and all those who were in her life. She was always encouraging to me to do better with my life. She loved her family very much, gardening, traveling and going to the casinos. She will be forever remembered.  
May she rest in peace! 

You will be dearly missed! You started off as a close friend of my Mom, Dora Guillen. You quickly stole our families hearts and before we knew it you were no different than family. You garnished the title of Godmother to my brother Eddie but!  You acted more like my Godmother. Such an inspiration to a young girl like me. You dressed impeccably, you taught me so many lessons in fashion and in life. You introduced me to the love of my life that in turn gave us a wonderful son that has produced an even more amazing Grandson for Scott and me. I will miss you so terribly bad. I love you so very much. I know you are celebrating with Mom! You are free now!!!
