Alice May Mefford Walls

Alice May Mefford Walls, July 7, 1923 – was called Home by her Maker on February 23, 2021. She was born in Fort Collins, Colorado to Joe & Helen Mefford, deceased.

She accepted Christ as her Savior while in High School. She married Phillip L. Walls on June 27, 1944, and from this union they had four children. Phillip L. Walls, Jr., Pamela Ray Walls Williamson, Rodney David Walls, and Kathleen Barbara Walls Chatley.

Her husband was in the U.S Army and wherever they were sent, she worked as a secretary. Several places of employment include Mountain View Baptist Church and the Baptist Spanish Publishing House, both in El Paso, Texas. She served in the “Drive a Meal” Ministry and was a Gideon, where distributing Bibles and New Testaments was a “most rewarding service to our Lord.” Philippians 4:6-8

She has one surviving sibling, Robert Mefford of Memphis, Tennessee.

Phillip L. Walls Jr., wife Karen, children: Rob, wife Jennifer and children, Megen, husband Chris and children Noah, Liam; Ethen Phillip, wife Lindsay and daughter Brooklyn; and Rachel; Roger, wife Amanda and children, Karys, Hannah, and Joshua; Ryan, wife Amanda and children Zachary and Allison.

Pamela Ray Williamson, husband Haskel, children: Haskel Lynn, Shara Hetherington, husband Geoff and children, Reid, Riley and Reese.

Rodney David Walls, wife Lisa, daughter Analisa R.

Kathleen Barbara Chatley, son, Kyle, wife Kimberly, and children, Samuel, Sarah, Lily, and Sage.

Visitation: Monday, March 15, 2021, 5 - 9 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn.

Celebration of Life: Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 12 noon at Mountain View Baptist Church.

Graveside: Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 1:30 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
