Ida, I remember Tito since before I was married to one of his friends. He was in our wedding 32 yrs ago, (sadly, we divorced), however, I never forgot him. I remember when you came into his life and i knew you two were meant for each other.  You both were always smiling and enjoying life as I remember.  I did not get the honor of seeing him for quite a few years before he passed and haven't met your two children.  I was very shocked to see his obit in the newspaper, but seemed that everything was rushed and didn't get a chance to pay my condolences to you and your family. I can imagine how hard it was for all of you to lose him at this special time of year, however, the Good Lord takes the special ones with him at special times. Ida,Ryan & Megan..It is with much sorrow,that I was given the news,of Als' passing. What a shame,when good people,leave us,way before we want them,to ,,,I was very fortunate,to call Al,my friend. We were meter readers,together,for 5 years,and with that group of guys (they know who they are),I have many fond memorys,,joking around,football & basketball games,,most of all,the company picnic volleyball games,at Azcarate,with Al & Ida,as my teammates. He always had a warm smile each morning,as we all reported,into the meter room. To my friend AL, Today we bid you farewell, we had a procession of about 50-70 bikes of friends and co-workers and family, we drove from the funeral home to the church, you would've loved it, bro. A church full of friends and family awaited you.The thunder of our pipes as the bikes passed is all you could hear.We reved our bikes to salute you my friend. UNTIL WE RIDE AGAIN, BROTHER.

Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was working and learning from Al. He was a great teacher and lineman, and friend. He always worked hard and took care of his crew. I didn't know Al that long but for the time I did he was a really cool person and always willing to help anyone. We will all miss the good times we had at work with Al.
