Alfonso Beltran

Alfonso Beltran age 89 was born in Santa Rosalie de Carmargo, Chihuahua Mexico on April 10th 1927. He entered heavens gates on May 10th 2016 with his Grandson by his bedside holding his hand as he left this earth.

Alfonso reunites with his Mother Antonia Contreras, Son in law John Edward Ponce, and beloved Wife Maria Luisa Dominguez Beltran. He is survived by his only daughter and child Maria Teresa Beltran Ponce, his Grandson John (Magdalena ) Ponce de Leon, Two Great Grandchildren Georgina Marie and Jazmine Azaray, his partner and best friend for over 33 years Tomasa Alicia Rivas & countless nieces and nephews and God children.

Alfonso was one of nine children in his family. At age 8 he went to work as a Rancher in Carmargo undergoing the hardship of placing food on the table for the entire family. As a Rancher Alfonso developed a strong work ethic that would last a life time.

In June 1955 he married Maria Luisa Dominguez, they started a family with the birth of their daughter and worked very hard to purchase a house on Frankfort street so that their little girl could have a place to call home.

Alfonso retired from Bliss Auto Sales after 25 years of service, in 1999 he obtained his U.S. Citizenship, accomplishing all the dreams he had dreamt of when he was a young man in Carmargo. His passing signals the end of a generation in our family however through his teachings we know this to be certain "God is Good, God is Great." Please join our family in celebrating Alfonso's life.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the Vigil at 7:00 P.M.at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral mass will be held Monday May 16, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church. Interment at Evergreen (Alameda). Arrangements under the direction of Martin Funeral Home Central, El Paso, TX.
