Alberto is survived by his mother Irene Lechuga Beltran, children Vaness De La Riva and Albert Padilla, son in law Fernando De La Riva, grandchildren: Victoria Izabella De La Riva, Fernando De La Riva Jr., Elizabeth Adamaris De La Riva, Megan Felicity Padilla and Noah Sebastian Padilla and his brother and sisters Rosa Beltran, Delia Ponce, Grace Gandara, Sandra Bonilla, David Beltran, Mary Lou Beltran and Gabriel Beltran.
Alberto was born in El Paso on August 14, 1950 to Irene Lechuga Beltran and Albert Beltran Sr. He graduated from Ysleta High in 1969 where he enjoyed playing basketball and earning All-District along with being nominated to the prestigious Brave leadership award, President of Student Council and last but not least he was also crowned as Mr. Ysleta High. Alberto continued is allegiance to Ysleta High School by hosting many Alumni gatherings. Alberto attended UTEP and then made a life long carrier at Farm Bureau Insurance as the regional manager for 53 years including top sales honors.
Alberto was a devoted father, avid golfer, skier, scuba diver and mad scientist. He had a huge dedication to the farming community by participating in the FFA and proudly insuring many in El Paso and Hudspeth County. He enjoyed traveling the continents, learning the cultures of the world and he was also known by name on Carnival Cruise Ships! Alberto was loved by many for is encouragement to lead friends and family to better themselves.
Visitation will be Oct 9, 2024 at 5:00 PM following a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home at 1060 N. Carolina Dr. Mass will be held October 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Valley at 8600 Winchester Rd. with his final resting place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery at 401 S. Zaragosa Rd.
