She married John E. Greasby on July 20, 1963. Together they had 5 children; Linda (Jim Wilhelm) Greasby, Deborah Preston, Catherine Taylor, Charles Greasby and Michelle (Carlos Romero) Greasby. Throughout their years together they made loving homes in Long Island, NY. Westville and La Porte, IN., El Paso TX., and Toledo, OH.
Adrena has one surviving sister, Lilith Martin Brainard, 4 Grand Children: Alicia Greasby, Timothy Taylor Corrinia Taylor and Michael Perry, 5 Great Grand Children and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Adrena in Death: her loving husband (37 yrs) John E. Greasby (2-18-2001), Her brother-in-law ED. Brainard II. Biological parents William & Inez DeWitt Martin, adoptive parents Cecil & Dorthy Chisum, brothers William (Billie) & Wesley Martin.
Most of her life she was a homemaker, wife, mother, and everyone’s friend. Adrena always called El Paso home, when John passed away, she returned to El Paso, making it her home once again. She loved being called Mom- Maw Maw, played card games, didn’t care for Bingo. She loved her church, country music, enjoyed watching The Dallas Cowboys, and Baseball but did not care for Golf.
Adrena had resilience and stamina that surprised many, raised her 5 Children to be independent, loving, and loyal. Today, Adrena being apart from her true love, is once again being united with John E. Geasby just as they became one 58 years ago.
It is okay to rest now, mom, maw maw, friend. We will be okay until we meet again.
