Adela "Lita" Pulley, known affectionately as "Nana" to all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her, passed away on May 15, 2024, in El Paso, TX, at the age of 75. Born on July 14, 1948, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. She was a beacon of love and kindness to her family and friends, with a no nonsense attitude.
Adela was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Nana. Her warm smile and welcoming heart endeared her to all. She had a special way of making everyone feel cherished and valued. Her memory will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Adela is survived by her son Woodrow William Pulley, Jr. (Cristina Pulley), daughter Anna-Maria Pulley, and grandchildren Jacob Alexander Pulley (Esmeralda Cervantes), Olivia Ashley Pulley (Andrel Owens), Kristen Lanae Pulley, Maygan Renee Pulley, and Luis Salvador Saenz. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob Alexander Pulley II and Nicholas Joaquin Pulley, and by her sisters Mirla Denman and Lucy Velez.
She is preceded in death by her father Alejandro Velez, mother Maria Velez, husband Woodrow William Pulley, and her son William Alexander Pulley. Lita's legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through her family.
Memorial Services in honor of Adela will be held on May 28th at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street in El Paso, TX. The services will take place from 8am-11am with a Rosary at 9am, followed by burial at 11am at Ft. Bliss Cemetery.
