William Doyle Williams

William Doyle Williams, 94, of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. He was born on March 8, 1917, in Upland, AR, to Henry Johnson Williams, Sr. and Cora Buckner Williams.

William was an accountant, a graduate of the University of Arkansas, and a member of First Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death are his parents; and two brothers, Henry Johnson Williams, Jr. and Houston Buckner Williams.

Survivors include a sister, Virginia Williams Cooper (Doyle) of El Dorado; brother, Donald Madison Williams of Ruston, LA; niece, Wanda Shelby (Roger) of Ruston, LA; three nephews, Larry Williams (Jan) of Humble, TX, Tom Williams of El Dorado, Jason Williams (Jennifer) of Olive Branch, MS; five great nephews; and two great nieces.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011, at Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors and with Rev. Ben Early officiating.

The family will be at 211 N. Holloway, in El Dorado.
