Thomas Dean Perry

Tommy was born January 15, 1957, in Bellflower, CA, son of Joe W. Perry and Elizabeth O. Perry. He attended El Dorado High School graduating in 1975. After working at Kroger for many years, his life’s passion led to the opening of Perry’s Body Shop in 1981. He and his wife Barbara have enjoyed working side by side for 31 years. He is a member of Union Baptist Church. Tommy enjoyed restoring old cars, deer hunting, and fishing. He was a loving husband of 37 years, a wonderful father and grandfather, and respected employer by his Perry’s Body Shop family.

Tommy is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Overgaauw Perry; wife, Barbara Perry; son, Andy Perry (Lindsey) all of El Dorado, AR; daughter, Brandy Joiner (Marlon) of Conway, AR; brother, Michael Perry (Stacy) of Johnson City, TN; grandson, Jason Thomas Perry; and soon to be granddaughter, Ali Reece Joiner.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Pelz and Rev. Bennie Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Young’s.

Serving as pallbearers will be the employees of Perry’s Body Shop.
