Mr. Reid attended East Main Baptist Church. He was also on sight personal coordinator for EMC at Chemtura.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd Ray and Opal Rea Reid, and Helen and L.C. Gill.
Survivors include his parents, his wife, Debi Reid of El Dorado; three step-children, Jennifer O’Hara of Camden, AR; Crystal Johnston (Joseph) of Malvern, AR, and Justin Cassell of Plain Dealing, LA; eight grandchildren; canine companion, Magye Mae Reid; and many friends.
Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Young’s.
Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 with Dr. Benjy McCann and Bro. Sye Duke officiating. Burial will follow at Weldon Cemetery while under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
