She was born July 2, 1936, in Muskogee, OK to Allen Amos Groff and Naomi Lucille Matsler Shaw. Before retiring Sharon worked as an x-ray technician and receptionist.
Preceding her in death are her parents.
Survivors include her brother, Gerald Groff of Rogersville, TN; daughter, Valerie Calaway of Austin, TX; sons, Shane Calaway of El Dorado, AR and Jim Calaway of Lake Forest, IL; and 5 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. November 26, 2014, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating and under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorials be made to your local area Meals on Wheels and Hospice services.
