Sarah Jo Martin

She was born October 12, 1943 to Joe and Louella Bussey Pitts in Magnolia Arkansas. Sarah was a member of First Methodist Church in Smackover.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving her are her husband, Van Martin of Smackover and their children, Shelly Halbert (Boyd) of Dallas TX; and Trey Martin (Lisa) of Smackover. Also surviving her are her sister, Jane Hubbard (John) of Shreveport, LA; sister-in-law Marvelene Lambert (Donald) and four grandchildren, Cade Halbert, Brittyn Halbert, Lillie Martin and Vance Martin; two nieces Rebecca Jones (Steven) and Polly Polk; two nephews John Hubbard II and Joe Lambert.

In keeping with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations regarding public visitation or services at this time. A private family memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Smackover Public Library and to the Union County Animal Protection Society in Sarah's memory.
