Ricky Lang, 60 of El Dorado, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas following a lengthy illness. He was born December 26, 1950, in San Fernando, CA to Alfred Lang and Zadie Etta Jackson Lang. Ricky was a member of Temple Baptist Church in El Dorado.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and beloved cat Socks.
Survivors include his brother, Ronnie A. Lang and his wife Michelle; two aunts, Penny Cline and Edith Nelms of El Dorado; two uncles, Rufus “Uncle Doc” Jackson of Pasadena, TX and William “Uncle Snip” Jackson of Snow Hill, AR and a host of cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday, August 31, at Youngs.
Funeral services will be 10:00AM Thursday, September 1, at Bible Baptist Church with Bro. J.D. Weido officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
