Peggy Lewis

Peggy Glenn Lewis (Roberts), aged 87, of El Dorado, Arkansas, passed away on August 21, 2024. Born on May 28, 1937, in Vivian, Louisiana. Peggy was a cherished member of her community and a beloved figure in her family.

Peggy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. Married on May 2, 1957, to the late Freddie Allen Lewis Sr., she was a partner in both life and love. Together, they shared numerous joyful years until his passing. She was also preceded in death by her son Ricky Lewis, and her parents, Leslie and Alice Roberts.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her son, Freddie Allen Lewis Jr.; grandchildren, Danielle Anderson, Sara Dellis, Michelle Blake, Chelsea Lash, Ashtyn Lewis and Cory Lewis; and her great-grandchildren, Tristian, Mason, Kaden, Leila, Parker, Cora, Christopher, and Banks. Peggy also leaves behind her in-laws, Casey Anderson, Trevor Dellis, Clint Blake, and Chris Lash.

Peggy was known for her artistic talents, particularly in painting, crafting, and sewing. Her home was a treasure trove of antiques and handcrafted items, each with a story she loved to share. Her hobbies were a testament to her creative spirit and her ability to see beauty in the old and worn.

A celebration of life will be held on September 7th from 5 pm to 7 pm at Young's Funeral Home in El Dorado, Arkansas, which is assisting the family during this difficult time. Peggy's life will be celebrated and remembered as a beacon of love and creativity, touching all those who knew her.
