Patricia Jean Burchard

Born September 30, 1936 in Stephen Creek, Texas, she was the daughter of Edward H. and Texanna Traweek Blanks. She was retired from the Corps of Engineers of Texas and had been employed as Recreation Park Gate attendant. She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husbands, Clark Virgil Winder and Jack Burchard, a daughter Sherry Ackerman, a son Ronald Winder and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a son, Michael Winder, Sr (Gena) of Junction City; a son-in-law, Ron Ackerman of Onalaska, TX; a sister Myrtie Hadley (Raymond) of Livingston, TX; and grandchildren, Daren Lane (Deanna), Scott Allen Lane (Charity), Kris Winder, Brandi Bobbitt, Michael Winder, Jr., Melisa Langley, and Jennifer Winder. Also surviving are16 great-grandchildren and numerous friends and family.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Point Blank, TX with Rev. Donnie Pate officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, November 5, at Young’s Funeral Directors.
