Myrtle Foster McGaugh

Myrtle was born on August 24, 1930 in El Dorado, AR.; she was the daughter of James Edward Foster and Lillie Mae Carelock Foster. Myrtle had worked as a registered nurse at Warner Brown Hospital; director of nursing at Hillsboro Nursing Home and as administrator of Sweet Home Assisted Living.She was an active and lifelong member of Bethel Chapel Assembly of God Church. She loved gardening and decorating especially for the Holidays. Myrtle loved her time with family and friends.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Leroy Foster, a sister Hazel McGaugh, and her husband of 68 years Olen "Bo" McGaugh.

Survivors are a daughter Becky Harrison (Ray) of El Dorado; sons Donald Ray McGaugh (Deborah) of El Dorado, Mark Edward McGaugh (Barbara) of Bella Vista. Grandchildren Joey Jones (Susan), Matthew McGaugh (Angie), Benjamin McGaugh (Lori), Anthony Harrison (Shannon), Melinda Aaron (Steven), Amanda Jones (Caleb) and Jennifer McGaugh. Along with 15 great grandchildren, a great great-grandchild due in December and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6 pm to 8 pm at Young’s Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 2 pm, Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Bethel Chapel Assembly of God Church with Anthony Harrison and Rev. Steve Moss officiating. Interment will follow at Old Parker Chapel Cemetery.
