He was a member of Calion First Assembly of God Church. He loved his chickens and was president of a local Poultry Club.
He was employed at several local facilities over his long career as an E&I/ Industrial Maintenance Technician for AmerCable, Conagra, Prescolite, and then went on to retire from El Dorado Chemical. During his retirement he taught Industrial Technology at South Arkansas Community College as an adjunct instructor and then later as a professor. He obtained several achievements during his lifetime including obtaining a 2 year technical degree in Electronics, Graduating from Seminary, and obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Southern Arkansas University. He was a beloved father and grandfather.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and his sister, Sharon.
Survivors include his three sons, Andy, Brent, and Brandon; a daughter, Amanda; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Martha and Debbie; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Calion First Assembly of God church in Calion, AR at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.
