Mary Jo Meagher Roan Nicolich

Born on November 22, 1928 in Eagletown, OK; she was the daughter of Cecil and Hatti Couch Roan. Mary Jo lived most her life in the San Pedro, CA area. She owned Mary Jo's Merry Travelers Travel Agency. Mary Jo specialized in planning trips for church and senior groups. She was a member of St Mary Margaret Alacoque Catholic Church in Lomita, CA. Mary Jo was an avid collector of black and white cow figurines.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, 12 brothers and sisters, a grandson Kevin Meagher, a daughter Vickie Willey and her husband Joseph Patrick Meagher.

Survivors are her sons Patrick (Patricia) Meagher of El Dorado and Larry Meagher of Lomita, CA; a daughter Pam (Clarence) Cooley of Sullivan, OH; a brother C.C. "Bear" Roan; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Directors an hour prior to services.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014, in the chapel of Young's Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating.
