La Donna was born December 28, 1959 to the late Fred and Fern Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Oscar and Hollis Collins and Arthur and Adelle West.
La Donna was so proud of her family and loved them dearly.
She is survived by her sister, Paulette Reap and brother-in-law, Mike Reap; niece, Sonya Blann and husband, Ricky; great nephews, Blake and Matt Blann; great great niece, Trinity Blann; and many cousins.
La Donna was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She lived each day to the fullest, always happy, making sure everyone she met knew her name and how much she loved Jesus. She spent many hours reading her bible and memorizing scriptures and praying.
She was a prayer warrior! Anyone with a prayer request knew they could count on La Donna to be faithful in remembering them.
La Donna loved competing. She would participate in the Special Olympics bowling tournaments, dance competitions, dominos and bingo. She was an avid Razorback fan!
She was a resident at Hudson Nursing Home. She spent many years delivering the mail, activity calendars and anything else they would let her help with. One thing is for sure, if La Donna was given a job, she did it with pride and gave 110%. New residents to Hudson were sure to be greeted with La Donna’s warm smile and hospitality. She made sure everyone felt welcome.
La Donna loved giving! She loved to give to her church and multiple charities and organizations.
She loved a celebration, all holidays and especially family get togethers.
We want to celebrate the life she led and the lessons she gave us. For the best gift she gave us, was her life. She was a gift. For all the ways she inspired us to be better and for all the love she gave while she was here with us, she was a gift to each of us. May we never forget this beautiful gift.
