Kenneth Jerome King, 73, a resident of Luling, LA passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 1:00 P.M. at Smackover Memorial Cemetery in Smackover, AR, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors, with Dr. Paul Naylor of First Baptist Church LaPlace, LA will officiate.
Mr. King is survived by his wife, Rebecca Beard King; daughter, Christa Elish King (Gene) Plaisance; sister, Alana King (Dixon) Sturtevant; and grandchildren, Colin Anthony Plaisance and Seth Michael Plaisance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H. H. King and Marselle Dozier King; brothers, Joe H. King and Gary D. King.
Mr. King was a United States Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. He was a retiree from Coastal Gulf and International and an active member of First Baptist Church LaPlace, LA.
