She was a charter member of Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Smackover, Arkansas. She later moved her membership to Westside Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR.
Judy was born to TB and Ann (Reed) Fraser of Smackover, AR on May 25, 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Joy (Fraser) Ingram and Clark Ingram of Norphlet, AR.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Samuel Carroll Ricketts; one niece, Debora Cook and her husband Jim of Smackover and a nephew, James Ingram and his wife Kim of Norphlet. Judy had 6 great nieces and nephews and many great, great nieces and nephews.
Judy was retired from Goodyear where she worked as an office manager for 22 years. She enjoyed her early morning workouts with her friends at Planet Fitness. Judy enjoyed spending her time with Carroll traveling and visiting antique stores or flea markets searching for treasures.
Serving as pallbearers are Corey Gee, Brandon Butler, Jared Gee, Josh Cook, Gabe Cook, and Phillip Gee.
Visitation will be Monday, April 22 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Young's Funeral Home in El Dorado.
A graveside service will be at Smackover Cemetery on Tuesday, April 23 at 2:00 P.M. with Gary Hammond and Deena Hunter officiating and under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
