Born on August 27, 1922 in Union County, Arkansas he was the son of John Henry and Lizzie Mattie Davidson Primm. Mr. Primm was plant operator with Mobil Oil Refinery, a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #18 of Lisbon, AR, a graduate of Mt. Holly School system, and had the great pleasure of dancing around the world!
He was a simple man who loved life, his family & friends, Jesus, his garden, homemade wine, and the Smackover Buckaroos. He was quick to help a friend or stranger and stood for what was right, regardless of the cost. He always said that the best people in the world live in Smackover, Arkansas and enjoyed bragging about his home town to everyone he met.
To his many friends who visited and cared for him over the years, the family would like to extend a special thank you. May his love and spirit live on in each of you as it does in us.
Preceding him in death along with his parents were his wives, Alice Newsom, Mattie Marzelle Eads and Lody Primm, a son, John Kirk Primm, Jr., daughter, Martha Learinda Storey and brothers, Henry W. Primm, George Primm and Earnest Primm along with sisters, Leta Byrd and Winnie Wilson
Survivors include a son Barry Mark Primm of Jackson, TN, his daughter-in-law, Sheila Primm and grandchildren, Zac (Jodi) Storey & Stephanie (Cody) Duran of Phoenix, AZ and Jonathan Primm and Roy Primm of Jackson, TN. He also had 10 amazing great grand kids.
In keeping with the Center of Disease (CDC) recommendations regarding public gatherings there will be no public visitation or services at this time. A private interment will take place at Friendship Cemetery.
