Lee was born August 23, 1946 in Dallas, TX to John Carroll (J. C.) Fortune Jr. and Robbye Palmer Fortune Holt. He attended SMU and spent many years working as a salesman.
He was preceded in death by his mother Robbye Palmer Fortune Holt of El Dorado, AR.
He is survived by his son Palmer Fortune, and wife Amanda, his grandsons Palmer Durand Fortune and Russell McClaine Fortune of St. Simon’s Island, GA. He is also survived by his cousins Richard Kriss of Austin, TX, R. Steve Kriss of Plano, TX, and Mike Kriss of Dallas, TX.
The family will receive friends from 5:30- 7:00pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Laredo Grill, 200 East Main Street , El Dorado.
A graveside service will be at 10 am, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Arlington Memorial Park. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
