She was born March 10, 1927 to Sidney Dean and Ethel Autrey Harris in Crossett, AR. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the Medical Center of South Arkansas Volunteer Auxiliary, and she was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Joe Lee Templeton, Sr.; her brother, Sidney Harris; and her sister, Juanita Woodard.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Dr. Joe Lee Templeton, Jr. (Susan), Mark Templeton (Gay), and Frank Dean Templeton all of El Dorado; her grandchildren, Natalie Forte (Jonathan), Katie Templeton, Todd Templeton (Patience), Dalton Templeton; step grandchildren, Steven Smith and Michael Smith; great grandchildren; Emma, Jackson, and Graham Forte, Faith Templeton, Cooper, Colby, Gracelee, and Nolan Smith; and special friend, Nathaniel Whitaker.
In keeping with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations regarding public gatherings there will be no public visitation or services at this time. A private family graveside at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
