Jo Ann Bullock

Jo Ann was raised in El Dorado. After high school, she attended Southern State College, where she met Auda Gregory Bullock. They were married soon after and had their only child, Dale. They were very close until his untimely death in 1981.

Sometime later, she met and married Tommy Hudson. They enjoyed dancing and travel. Although they divorced, they remained friends until his death. A few years later, Jo Ann reunited with an old high school admirer, George Wohleb. George greatly enjoyed telling old school mates who he was happily married to. They were together until George’s death, but they are now together again.

Jo Ann was a life-long member of First Baptist Church, but for the last few years of her life, she was attending Grace Baptist Church, where she made many friends. She was employed as office manager for Curtis Byram, CPA for many years and earlier was employed as assistant manager at Cato’s.

Preceding her in death are her parents; and her husbands.

Survivors include her son, William Dale Bullock (Jill) of El Dorado; special caregivers, Keith Dedmon, Jimmy Estes, and Joe Dearing, II all of El Dorado.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Young’s Funeral Directors.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating.
