He was born on July 6, 1952 in Little Rock, AR the son of Garland and Euna Hamilton. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving six years in the United States Navy. Jimmie was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church, where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed drag racing and fishing.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Chris Hamilton.
Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Stephanie Hamilton of Norphlet; a son, Bryan Hamilton (Diane) of Norphlet; step-grandsons, Addison Preston and Thomas Preston; and a sister, Judy Spears (Doug) of Camden.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2020 in the chapel of Young's Funeral Directors with Rev. Don Ashcraft and Rev. Sye Duke officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery on Hancock Rd, Crossett, AR under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
In keeping with the CDC regulations masks and social distancing are required.
