Jesse James Hambrick, 88 of El Dorado, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, at the Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. He was born April 29, 1927, to William Medford and Willie Mae Ward Hambrick in Calion, AR.
He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and worked as a welder at Columbia Chemical before his retirement.
Preceding him in death are his parents; his loving wife, Leola Smith Hambrick; daughter, Helen Janice Fincher; son, James Ray Hambrick; brother, Harper Lee Hambrick; and sister, Dorothy Hambrick.
Survivors include his daughter, Judy Lupton (Doug) of El Dorado; two sisters, Claudia Lum (Daniel) of El Dorado, Dollie Jones, Lebanon, MO; four grandchildren, J.T. Brown (Amber) of Bentonville, AR, Marcus Hambrick (Mary) of Louann, Michelle Hamrick of El Dorado, Matthew Hambrick of El Dorado; and great grandson, John Kitchens of Louann.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00-p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Young’s Chapel with Dr. J.D. Weido officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
