Born March 11, 1943 in Hensley, Arkansas she was the daughter of Samuel Bowman and Winnie Opal Dempsey Kirby. Jeanette was a stay at home Mom and enjoyed making wedding cakes, sewing and taking care of her family. She later worked at West Side Baptist School where she was a member. She later worked at Home Depot for ten years while she took care of her ailing husband until his death in 2010.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, Jerry W. Misenheimer, a son, Derek L. Misenheimer and brothers, Babe Everett and Sam Bo Kirby.
Survivors include four sons, Jerry R. Misenheimer (Renee), Gary W. Misenheimer (Kristi), Stacy W. Misenheimer (Brandy) all of El Dorado and Dallas R. Misenheimer (Julie) of Taylor, AR and one daughter, Sherry Pitts (Ben) El Dorado. Survivors also include brothers, Michael Kirby of Magnolia, Danny R. Kirby of El Dorado, and sisters, Diann Booth of DeRidder, LA, Mable Kirby of El Dorado, Dorothy Brown of Chidester, Brenda Kirby and Linda Kirby both of Pine Bluff. There are 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren surviving.
Visitation will begin at noon Saturday with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. February 2, 2019 in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Gerald Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers will be Brett Misenheimer, Troy Misenheimer, Justin Misenheimer, Jacob Misenheimer, Samuel Pitts, and Dayton Misenheimer.
