James "Jimmy" A. Pearson

James A. "Jimmy" Pearson, 65 of El Dorado passed from this life into eternal rest Friday, December 13, 2024 at his home surrounded by love. He was born February 5, 1959 in El Dorado to James and Juanita Templeton Pearson.

Jimmy was a retired lineman/journeyman, and a member of Local 436. He was an outdoor enthusiast, history buff, and was passionate and knowledgeable about all things, guns and motorcycles. His humor was contagious, and his love ran deep. His most favorite thing on this earthly plane was his family and being a “Pop”.

He is preceded in death by his father, stepfather, Sonny Cloud, a brother, David Pearson and a stepson, Lane “Allen” Pennington.

Survivors include his mother, Juanita Cloud, of El Dorado, a sister Jacquita Diehl (Philip) of Washington, his daughter Casey Bailey, son in love Brandon Bailey, grandson Rocky Bailey, and grand-pups Shade and Dottie, all of El Dorado. A host of nephews, a niece, great nephews, a great niece and cousins. Two special cousins Mike Templeton (Dana) of OKC and Randy Templeton (Vicki) of El Dorado.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in Young's Chapel. Visitation with the family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Interment will be at a later date in Old Union Cemetery.
