Geraldine Agnes Patterson

Born on July 31, 1930 in Oak Grove, LA; she was the daughter of George E. and Audry Smith Witherington. A homemaker, Geraldine was a member of the Calion First Baptist Church and loved to hunt and fish. Geraldine was an artist and dollmaker and was active in the South Arkansas Arts Center.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jarvis Witherington, and a sister Alline Kelley.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, James L. Patterson of El Dorado; a daughter Mitzi Ann (John) Thompson of Junction City; grandsons Jonathan W. (Audrey) Thompson of Birmingham, AL and Justin S Thompson of Junction City; great grandson William Elliott Thompson of Birmingham, AL.; and a sister Katherine Brady of El Dorado, AR.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4pm-6pm at Young’s.

Funeral services will be 10 am, Monday, March 2, 2015 in the Chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Nick O’Nale officiating. Interment will follow at Beech Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
