Frances Sue Denton

Born on January 1, 1917 in Hermitage, AR; Frances was the daughter of William C. and Jewell Givens Wood. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Calion and Quinn Community Center Frances was the owner of Denton Kennels and was a noted dog breeder breeding Fox Terriers to Afghan hounds.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, George Wood; a sister, Leo Postell; husband, Obie Vester Denton; and granddaughter, Tammy Lynn Langford.

Survivors are a daughter, Judy (Jimmy) Hall of Pine Bluff; sisters, Nancy Kerwin Johnson and Marilyn Hill Tinklepaugh both Albuquerque NM; a granddaughter, Marsha Prater of Pine Bluff; a grandson, Jeff Langford of Clearwater, FL; great grandson, Nicholas Prater of Pine Bluff; and great granddaughter, Jacie Lynn Clark of Pine Bluff.

Graveside services will be 2 pm, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. The family will receive friends at Young’s Funeral Directors on Saturday from 10 am to Noon.
