She previously worked as a daycare teacher at Bright Beginnings. She was a follower of Christ and a lover of animals. She had many dogs and cats throughout her life and one of her greatest joys was caring for them.
Edith was born on October 30th, 1927 to Thomas Beaver “Tom” Hogue and Amma Coleman Hogue in Strong, Arkansas.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Edward Chester “Johnny” Moore, her son, Edward Chester “Eddie” Moore Jr., sisters, Margaret Eason and Hazel Stephens, and brothers Thomas Wilson Hogue and Clarence R. Hogue.
She is survived by her two daughters: Donna Lawrence (Steve) and Shirley Hobbs (Drew). Her granddaughter Hannah Weddle, two grandsons Jake Moore (Samantha) and Matt Moore (Toni), and three great-grandchildren, Macie, Jackson, and Matthew.
To honor and celebrate Edith's life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20th from 5-7 pm at Youngs Funeral Directors.
Edith’s kindness, strength, and joy will be remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her life was marked by love and devotion to her family and friends.
