He retired from the 706 Plumbers Union after 50 years; worked in maintenance for Immanuel Baptist Church and then One Community Church. He was a faithful servant of the Lord. Don was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed just being with family. Don served in the Army was stationed in Korea.
Preceding him in death are his parents and brother Mike Yarbrough.
He is survived by his daughters Kandy Ray (Billy) of El Dorado, Keitha Dews (Danny) of Mt. Holly, AR; brother Gary Yarbrough (Scotty) Tampa, Florida; grandchildren Logan Bovee, Kala Ponder, Kole Todd and Maddie Dews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Clark Whitney officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Pallbearers are Jeff Beavers, Jacob Beavers, Donald Dews, Danny Dews, Billy Ray, Jaxon Parker. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Yarbrough and Jimmy Horn.
