Debra Ballard

Debra W. Ballard, 72, of El Dorado, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the South Arkansas Regional Hospital. She was born on April 23, 1951 to Lamar and Evelyn Grigg Watson in Arcadia, LA.

She was employed by Hillsboro Manor Nursing Home, where she was a nurse, and she was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death are her parents; and her husband, Jerry Ballard.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Benjamin T. Ballard; daughter, Talitha Ballard both of El Dorado; brothers, Victor and Kay Watson of El Dorado, Marty and Sharon Watson of Little Rock, Monty and Kathy Watson of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 in Young's Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
