He pastored the Master's Call Community Church, was founder and executive director of Mission Evangelism International, Inc., along with the Wilderness Deliverance Camp located in South Arkansas.
His preceded in death by his father, Maxwell Nelson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Nelson; mother, Mary Alice Cottrell Nelson; brother, Greg Nelson (Mary); daughters, Dory Ann Nelson Thornton, Dara Nicole Nelson Tapley, Danika Danielle Nelson, Danae Nelson Ramier; son, Daryl Rockfield Nelson, II; grandchildren, Brayden Chase Fisher, Ashton Shanaenae Dix, Carley Tapley.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.
